Phra Pradaeng District, Samut Prakan
Set on a bend of the Chao Phraya River in the southern Samut Prakan district of Bangkok is the lush and beautiful city of Phra Pradaeng. Nicknamed Bangkok’s Green Lung, Phra Pradaeng has one of the lowest population densities in Bangkok, and is known for its extensive parks, beautiful trails, and numerous areas to go bike riding.
Although Phra Pradaeng is far from a tourist hotspot, there are a couple of attractions to be noted, such as the weekend market, and Pom Phlaeng Faifa historic military fort. The fort dates back to 1815, but has since been turned into a beautiful garden park.
